24, 23, 22
by Doug Deans

“There’s something about today. Something’s gonna happen. I don’t know what it is but everything feels a bit like it’s holding its breath.”

It’s just an ordinary day. At the beginning of the day, Fran is late for work. At the end of the day, Brendan is bleeding out in the street. Time flows forwards and spirals backwards. Music pulses. Beats blast. Fran progresses through the worst day of her life. Brendan rewinds through his last day alive. Soon they’ll meet in the middle, and we’ll find out what has happened to him, and what will happen to her.

24, 23, 22 is a ★★★★★ gig-theatre show about the heat of the moment, and how our impulses create ripples which become waves. Join our cast of two, armed with handheld mics, and an onstage beat-maker, for this little earthquake of a show. Expect scuzzy beats, stolen bags, and the reversal of the flow of time.
